ASSISTING HANDS HOMEHEALTH CARE LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Care Aide to support patients in their homes. You will follow a one-on-one care plan, provide personalized care, and build meaningful relationships with clients while maintaining a safe, healthy home environment.

You will work with a team to achieve daily goals, communicate clearly with families, and demonstrate reliability, compassion, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• DHS background check required.
• Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
• Must be a non-smoker.
• Must complete required training.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health Care or PCA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Help with their daily goals
• Engage patients in community outings or other activities

Qualifications

• Complete a DHS background check
• Valid Driver License/ Reliable transportation
• Must be a non-smoker of any sort.
• Must be able to complete required training

Hourly Rate

$21-$22 an hour
