Job summary

Clayton Manufacturing is seeking experienced individuals to join our Home Building Team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will build quality homes and safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment, while reading production drawings.

We are seeking experienced individuals with backgrounds in residential construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades to join our Home Building Team.

Experience In:

• Residential Construction
• Carpentry/Framing
• Drywall
• Roofing/Shingling
• Residential Electrical
• Residential Plumbing
• Welding
• Manufacturing using hand and power tools
• Other skilled trades

What You’ll Do

• Build quality homes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Read and follow work instructions and production drawings
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
• Work as part of a team and assist in multiple areas as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a skilled trade
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment
• Willingness to learn multiple jobs and grow within the organization

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling
• Work primarily involves standing, up to 4 hours at a time
