Home Builder

Reports To: Department Manager

Job Status: Full Time Hourly 7:00am - 3:30pm

Position Summary

We are seeking a candidate with experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities outlined below. As a member of the Home Building Team, you will be responsible for performing manufacturing and production operations within the Home Building Process, following established production methods and maintaining safe work practices to ensure efficiency and safety throughout the home building process.

Job Expectations

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. The work environment is fast‑paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and adaptability. Must be able to work with a team and solo. Focus on quality but still at a fast pace.

Work Environment And Requirements

• Daily working conditions: include overhead work, working in tight spaces, keeping up with a good pace, repetitive work, working in wet conditions where it can be slippery
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hats, steel‑toe footwear, ear protection, and safety glasses must be always worn.
• The production facility experiences noise and dust. Temperature conditions can be warm and humid during summer months despite cooling systems; winter conditions are generally mild. Appropriate attire for varying temperatures is expected.
• The position can be physically and mentally demanding, with tasks involving repetitive motion, bending, twisting, overhead work and ladder climbing.
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
• A positive attitude and cooperative spirit are necessary to contribute effectively as part of a team. Hungry, Humble, People Smart!

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling & overhead work
• Must be able to communicate with team members from your department and other departments, as well as Department Managers and other Managers as needed.
• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
• High School diploma or GED preferred

Pay Range & Benefits

Clayton Redwood Falls offers a competitive total compensation package. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, 401K, Long and Short‑Term Disability, and Tuition Reimbursement. Compensation for this role is $25.00/hour. This position is HOURLY position, and the pay range does not include variable bonuses.
