Job summary

The Osborne Company is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead fast-paced EV infrastructure projects across the continental U.S. You will manage multiple crews and subcontractors from various sites, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Your role requires strong field presence, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication with the Project Manager, clients, and trades. This position is home-based with nationwide travel and extensive on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or field lead directing subcontractors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or fast-paced job sites simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Proficient with construction software on laptop/tablet (Procore, Bluebeam).
• Willingness to travel 2–3 weeks at a time with home time between trips.
• Ability to fly as needed (REAL ID or TSA).
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting policy.
• OSHA 30, or ability to complete within 90 days (paid by Osborne).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations across one or multiple sites from mobilization to closeout.
• Schedule, direct, and hold subcontractors accountable; supervision by Osborne Superintendents only.
• Ensure work adheres to plans, specs, and codes.
• Coordinate schedules, sequencing, inspections, and daily progress.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Manager and offer options when issues arise.
• Prepare POs, Change Orders, and cost estimates with PMs.
• Lead job-site safety activities and incident documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized, professional job sites.
• Deliver high-quality client experiences and clear communication.
• Submit daily reports, photos, and progress updates in Procore.
