Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree and the required licensure in Indiana.
• Complete a minimum of 24 post-secondary semester hours and 36 quarter hours in specified coursework (Human Growth and Development; Social and Cultural Foundations; Group Dynamics, Processes, Counseling, and Consultation; Lifestyle and Career Development; Sexuality; Gender and Sexual Orientation; Issues of Ethnicity, Race, Status, and Culture; Therapy Techniques; Family Development and Family Therapy; Clinical/Psychiatric Social Work; Group Therapy; Psychotherapy; Counseling Theory and Practice).
• Individual must also complete the Human Service Related Monthly Pay (as specified in the job posting).

Responsibilities

• Complete timely documentation including diagnostic impressions, interventions provided, and progress toward established outcomes.

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree with current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board

Master’s degree in a related human service field and employed by an organization that is nationally accredited by the Joint Commission, Council on Accreditation, or the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities

Job description

The Master’s-Level Clinician provides time-limited, outcome-based therapeutic interventions to children and families in community or outpatient settings. Services are strength-based and focused on helping clients achieve identified treatment outcomes. The clinician must hold an appropriate master’s degree and all required certifications or credentials and is responsible for completing timely documentation that includes diagnostic impressions, interventions provided, and the client’s progress toward established outcomes.

Education/Experience:

Direct Worker:

1. 1. Master’s or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: a) Social Worker; b) Clinical Social Worker; c) Marriage and Family Therapist; d) Mental Health Counselor; e) Marriage and Family Therapist Associate; f) Mental Health Counselor Associate
2. 2. Master’s degree with a temporary permit issues by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: a) Social Worker b) Clinical Social Worker c) Marriage and Family Therapist d) Mental Health Counselor
3. 3. Master’s degree in a related human service field and employed by an organization that is nationally accredited by the Joint Commission, Council on Accreditation, or the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
