Personal Touch Home Care in New York, NY is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our home-based care team serving Manhattan and the Bronx. This full-time role evaluates and treats speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric and adult caseloads to improve quality of life.

Applicants must hold an active NY SLP license and be a graduate of an accredited program. Salary is $110,000–$115,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.
