Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care and equipment setup. You will manage ventilator needs and deliver equipment per physician orders to patients in the Baton Rouge area, ensuring proper use and safety.

The role requires maintaining compliance, communicating with patients, and performing follow-up calls to ensure ongoing care and satisfaction. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home care experience.
• Ability to set up respiratory equipment promptly per physician orders.
• Experience with ventilator management in home or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow up calls with patients after setup.
• Provide follow up home care as needed.
