Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers (CGRC) seeks an MST Mental Health Professional to deliver intensive home- and community-based therapy to families with adolescents facing behavioral and emotional challenges. You will engage with caregivers to promote positive change in natural settings, following the MST model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
• Minimum one year experience working with child and families in a mental health setting.
• Broad clinical practice in family, child, behavior, individual therapies, group counseling and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and participate in supervision per agency guidelines.
• Handle administrative duties: chart documentation, billing, and paperwork.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to assess client and family dynamics.
• Provide therapy services to promote understanding of personal and interpersonal dynamics.
• Develop measurable treatment goals with sustainable objectives for families.
• Record case progress notes for MST and CGRC.
• Meet program expectations regarding authorizations and productivity.
• Be available to intervene in crisis situations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
