Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking experienced air ambulance pilots to plan and execute flight missions in fixed-wing aircraft. You will lead crewmembers, interpret weather and mission data, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs and FAA regulations.

The role requires extensive turbine and two-pilot experience, a current First-Class Medical, and U.S. work authorization. You will represent the company with safety and service excellence across international travel if needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2,000 hours total pilot time in fixed-wing aircraft.
  • FAA Commercial with Instrument and MEL, plus ATP (unrestricted or restricted).
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Valid passport; unrestricted ability to travel internationally; U.S. work authorization.
  • Ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain required airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
  • Air-carrier flight experience in turbojet aircraft or two-pilot crew operations.
  • Learjet or similar aircraft experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients on fixed-wing missions with sound judgment.

Your mission

  • Obtain and interpret flight briefings covering mission purpose, weather, operating procedures, and special instructions.
  • Lead and supervise crewmembers to ensure thorough flight planning, preparation, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Oversee loading and distribution of patients, passengers, and cargo; verify weight and balance within limits using approved methods/tools.
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and promptly with crew, medical teams, dispatch, clients, vendors, and ground personnel.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; represent the company with the highest standards of safety and service.
  • Safely transport patients on fixed-wing missions while exercising sound judgment and captaincy at all times.
What you’ll bring
