Job summary

Healogics is seeking a qualified Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, monitor patient responses, and maintain chamber equipment within a busy clinical setting in Laurel, MD. You will educate patients, document treatments, and support vein clinics after training.

This role requires BLS/CPR certification and strong attention to detail. The position emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with Hyperbaric Providers to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification to be maintained throughout employment.
• Initial and ongoing work-related competencies for hyperbaric equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic software applications for wound management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, educate and orient patients about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and assist with patient transitions.
• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed and monitor patient responses during sessions.
• Record daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care notes and maintain accurate patient records.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber and related oxygen systems; ensure safety and proper function.
• Assist in vein clinic after specialized training as applicable.
• Participate in safety drills and overall safety program activities.
