Job summary

The Neighborhood Center, Inc is seeking a Home Based Crisis Intervention Program Supervisor to lead a dedicated team serving Herkimer and Otsego Counties in NY. The role includes clinical guidance, supervision of Interventionists, crisis intervention, and community collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of mental health issues affecting children, adolescents and their families.
• Experience in providing individual, family and group therapies to children with emotional disorders.
• Ability to maintain timeliness and accuracy in job functions.
• Ability to function as an interdisciplinary team member.
• Travel required to meet clients in Herkimer & Otsego Counties.
• Licensed mental health professional (LMHP) licensed by NYSED.
• A valid New York State Driver’s License and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach calls and complete eligibility screening for referred clients.
• Provide direct, individualized supervision to team of Interventionists.
• Conduct crisis/risk assessments and develop safety plans with families.
• Provide direct therapeutic services in homes or community settings.
• Conduct crisis intervention and stabilization with children and families; arrange referrals as needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and coordinate with community agencies.
