Job summary

Bayer seeks a Cardiorenal Sales Consultant to drive uptake of CV and menopause products across Southeast Missouri. You will build relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff, execute territory plans, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver US Pharma results.

The role requires 50% travel, domicile within the territory, and a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales, with ethical leadership and regulatory compliance as core priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of sales experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven track record of high performance in a sales role.
• Proven ability to build long-standing relationships with customers.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and laws.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff in assigned customers.
• Drive utilization of approved CV and menopause products; work with Customer Squad to generate pull-through with local payers and HCPs.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes, and menopause markets to anticipate and manage opportunities.
• Provide input to sales leadership for territory, area, and region planning.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans and share insights with stakeholders.
• Prioritize time to cover physician specialists based on opportunity.
• Understand customer needs and maintain Bayer ethics and compliance standards.
• Anticipate barriers and propose solutions for success.
• Handle objections and share expertise regionally when needed.
• Embrace emerging technologies to improve performance.
• Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations.
