Job summary

St. Joseph’s Villa is seeking ABA Counselors to join the IHBT program and Villa Education Center/Dooley School, delivering home-based treatment and school-based services under clinical supervision.

This role focuses on individualized behavior plans and coordination with families to support clients with developmental and emotional needs. The position offers flexible hours with Full-Time or Part-Time options, starting pay of $22 per hour, and non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services, mental health, or related field plus one year clinical experience required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Experience may be substituted for education at 1.5 years per year of education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Internet required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and excellent driving record preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician credential (active or eligible for reactivation)

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and implementation of service plans and methods for clients and families.
• Provides professional services in home or Villa Education Center on a scheduled basis.
• Works with families and encourages participation in treatment phases.
• Promotes behavioral, functional, communication, and social improvements through individualized treatment.
• Maintains accurate case notes meeting licensing standards.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary services to support client and family.
• Participates in supervision sessions.
• Attends trainings required by St. Joseph’s Villa and accrediting bodies.
