Job summary

MobilityWorks in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Home Access Installation Technician to install and service stairlifts, patient lifts, ramps, ceiling lifts, and power wheelchairs. You will read blueprints, perform electrical work, and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently outdoors and indoors, with regular business hours and nationwide travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and ceiling lifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance of adaptive equipment, including Stair Lifts, Patient Lifts, Scooter transports, Ceiling Lifts, Power Wheelchairs/Scooters, and other Mobility & Accessibility Equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing previously installed equipment and adaptations.
• Conducting thorough testing to ensure the quality of installations and repairs.
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with equipment and adaptations.
• Following written service orders accurately to complete tasks.
• Upholding a high level of quality in adherence to company standards.
