Holly Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Holly, MI is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to support residents, guests, and staff under sanitary conditions and to assist in dietary functions.

Position Summary:
FoodandNutritionaide isresponsibleforprovidingfoodservicetoresidents,guests,andemployees under sanitary conditions and for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. They assist in the cleaning and organization of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food and beverages according to menus, recipes, and established procedures.
Set up meal trays, dining areas, and food service stations.
Serve meals and snacks while following individual dietary requirements.
Check meal trays for accuracy, appropriate portions, and special diet instructions.
Assist with delivering and collecting meal trays.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment.
Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food-preparation areas.
Store food properly and check food temperatures and expiration dates.
Restock food, supplies, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace-safety procedures.
Report food-service concerns, equipment problems, or dietary issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Provide respectful, friendly, and professional service to residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
Previous food-service, healthcare, long-term-care, or institutional kitchen experience is an asset.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and pushing carts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
