Job summary

LifeWorks Wellness Center seeks a doctorally-prepared Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in a dedicated follow-up and maintenance care role. You will manage chemo testing follow-ups, lab reviews, and annual maintenance visits for patients across programs.

Applicants should have a Florida APRN license with board certification, a PhD or DNP, and strong communication and empathy. This role emphasizes collaboration with lead physicians and ongoing protocol development.

Qualifications

• Must have Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) and Florida APRN license with board certification.
• Must be licensed as a Florida APRN and hold BLS certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up, recheck, lab reviews, and maintenance visits for established patients.
• Conduct chemo testing follow-ups and regular lab reviews per protocol.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain communication with supervising physicians and clinical staff.
• Educate patients about the treatment approach and follow LifeWorks protocols.
• Escalate complex cases to supervising physician.
• Participate in developing and documenting clinical follow-up protocols.
