Job summary

Squishable.com, Inc. is seeking a Live Selling host to stream from our NYC office studio, promoting plush toys and Blind Boxes on TikTok Shop during the holiday season. You’ll engage viewers and drive sales, building a fun, energetic atmosphere.

Requirements include prior live selling or retail experience, strong on-camera presence, and availability to stream 3–6 days/week for 3–5 hours per day, on-site in Manhattan. Compensation is hourly with potential commission.

Responsibilities

• Host live shopping streams selling Squishable plush toys and Blind Boxes on TikTok Shop during the holiday season, starting in early November, from the NYC office studio and nearby stores.
• Create an energetic, entertaining atmosphere and shape live selling strategy as the channel grows.
• Educate viewers on products and engage with comments/questions throughout the streams.
• Drive sales per hour and hit hourly and weekly GMV targets.

Temporary / Seasonal | November through the Holiday Season

Calling all livestreamers, selling hosts, performers, and plush enthusiasts!

This holiday season, the SquishableTikTok shop is looking for a Live Selling host who can keep up with our active sales channel. Over the holidays, we plan to bring our Squish, Blind Boxes, and general holiday chaos to life on camera. We are looking for a personality who is part salesperson, part entertainer, and part plush expert, someone who can become virtual friends with almost anyone. If you’re comfortable on camera, love talking to strangers on the internet, and genuinely get excited about fuzzy plush creatures, this might be the holiday job for you.

Responsibilities:

• Host live shopping streams selling Squishable plush toys and Blind Boxes on TikTok Shop over the holiday season, starting in early November, from our NYC office studio and assorted nearby stores.
• Create an energetic, entertaining, and fun atmosphere that keeps viewers watching and buying, and help shape and drive our live selling strategy as the channel continues to grow,
• Educate viewers on our products and what makes them stand out, and engage with viewers and respond to comments/questions throughout the duration of the stream
• Drive sales per hour and hit hourly and weekly GMV targets

Qualifications:

• Prior live selling, retail, or sales experience is required
• Strong public speaking and communication skills, and comfortable and engaging on camera for extended periods
• Available to stream between 3-6 days a week for between 3 to 5 hours a day, on-site in Manhattan, including some late evening streams.
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for plush toys and collectibles!
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop administration is a plus

Additional Requirements:

• Must provide own wardrobe and makeup
• This is a contract position
• Late-night lives may be scheduled based on GMV goals
• Pay: $22-$32 an hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: 3-6 days/week (as we get closer to the holiday season, the frequency will rise)
• Additional commission based on experience.
