Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our busy holiday team. You will greet customers, help locate merchandise, and process purchases at the register, ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role runs October through January and requires a flexible schedule and strong people skills. Prior experience with cash registers or POS systems is a plus, and you should be comfortable learning new technology while supporting store restocking and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• On-the-job training will cover procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns; aim to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management about stock, service, and feedback.
• Support team and company goals to maintain a positive store environment.
