Job summary

Crate and Barrel seeks Seasonal Sales Associates to energize the in-store experience with friendly service and product knowledge. You’ll help customers select gifts, boost engagement, and uphold store standards while enjoying the associate discount.

Join a team led by Store Leaders to deliver memorable shopping moments, maintain displays, and contribute to sales goals during the busy holiday season. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move and/ or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
• Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise.
• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to customer questions, process payments, and involve leadership as appropriate.
• Communicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Possess and demonstrate excellent service and company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Assist with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Engage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training.
• Responsible for meeting sales goals as assigned by leaders.
• Execute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.
• Responsible for meeting CBH Credit Card (CBHCC) and email capture metrics as assigned by leaders.
