Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, handheld/mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: assess needs with product knowledge, answer questions, direct to merchandise, offer recommendations, and engage in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about current events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address issues and offer alternatives, turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform management about restocking, service requirements and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
