Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates to join during the busy holiday season (October through January). The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining stocked floor merchandise, and ensuring smooth checkout experiences.

Candidates should have strong people skills and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, restocking, and collaborating with the team to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Able to learn technology including POS hardware.

• Basic information gathering to resolve issues.
• Willing to learn procedures from on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Operate cash register, computer, handheld, phone, walkie, and mobile devices.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to 5-10 feet high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve stock.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop on stock room and sales floor.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues; exchange accurate information.
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and stock room retrieval.
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Identify and discern email/print instructions regarding merchandise layouts and schedules.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
