Job summary

Macy's is hiring Seasonal Retail Selling Colleagues to deliver memorable holiday shopping experiences. You will blend hospitality with effective selling to meet goals, greet customers warmly, and connect them with the right products and services.

You’ll help keep the sales floor neat and welcoming, extending personal attention from the fitting room to checkout. Seasonal colleagues typically work 10–20 hours per week, with scheduling dependent on business needs and availability.

Qualifications

• Able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular attendance.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and co-workers in English.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and promotions.
• Capable of handling POS devices and basic tech equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs; offer personalized recommendations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Meet daily selling goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
• Promote Macy's Loyalty program and drive customer loyalty.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing updates, and returns processing as needed.
