Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced holiday sales environment. This role focuses on sales, store maintenance, and customer service during peak seasonal days.

The ideal candidate will greet guests, assist with video game purchases, restock merchandise, keep areas clean and merchandised, and help the team meet sales and shrinkage targets while upholding store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Promote store sales initiatives and maintain an inviting shopping environment during peak season.
• Collaborate with store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are well-presented on floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and elevate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, and follow safety best practices.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
