Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Under direct supervision, you will greet guests, recommend products, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, organized shopping area. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Available for peak seasonal days and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending items, and expressing gratitude.
• Fully support the store environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to ensure store areas are clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and transferring products from stock to sales floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and professionally, escalating to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and adhere to safety best practices.
• Follow all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
