Job summary

Boscov's, Inc. is hiring for a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our fast-paced team. You will develop relationships with customers, provide product information, and help close sales to deliver a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining selling floor appearance, processing transactions, and supporting promotions. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with strong communication and math skills. Weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates should actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
• Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and Telxon.
• Availability to work varied days and hours including evenings and weekends.

• Establish professional, personalized rapport with each customer.
