Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager in Springfield, VA. You will work with the Local Manager to lead a seasonal team, manage daily photo operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional guest service during peak holidays.

You’ll engage in hiring support, training, scheduling, and inventory tasks, while ensuring a memorable Santa visit and photo experience for families. Prior retail leadership helps you excel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable handling cash and sales transactions.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions.
• Availability for pre-season training and flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment while upholding company values and policies.
• Support opening-day preparations, including hiring, inventory, equipment setup, scheduling, training, and procedures.
• Capture photos and help guests select memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns and service issues to support guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures set by senior management.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management as needed.
• Assist the Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting, and other tasks.
