Job summary

Kristiana Pärn Art & Stationery in Union Square Park, NYC, is seeking an outgoing booth assistant for the holiday market. The role covers selling handmade art and gifts in a festive outdoor market setting, with shifts mostly from 4–8 PM.

Part-time or full-time options available; compensation is $25 per hour. You’ll operate a POS, restock and tidy the booth, engage customers with the artist’s stories, and keep simple sales records.

Are you outgoing, dependable, and love helping people find beautiful handmade gifts? We’re looking for a friendly and responsible person to run our booth at a popular holiday market inUnion Square, NYC. This is an outdoor position inside a festive market setting. The booth is fully covered and heat is provided to keep things cozy throughout the season. You’ll be representing a small, artist-owned business that sells original paintings, art prints and gift items. Full-time or part-time positions available. Shifts are mostly in the afternoon and evening, around 4–8 PM.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle all sales using a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Keep the booth tidy, restocked, and visually appealing
• Engage with customers, share the story behind the art, and encourage purchases
• Keep basic records (sales totals, any issues, customer requests)

What We’re Looking For:
