Shine of West Oakland County is hiring a Holiday Lighting Installation Technician to bring festive displays to homes and businesses in the area. You will work outdoors with a team to install lighting on rooflines, trees, shrubs, and other features.

No experience is required. You’ll be paid during training, and there are opportunities for advancement. The schedule is Monday through Friday with paid time off, paid holidays, and occasional Saturday opportunities.

• Able to lift ladders up to 30 pounds and work at heights.

You’ll learn valuable skills, work at different locations, and get to see the results of your hard work light up the neighborhood!

No experience necessary. We'll pay you while we train you. We're looking for dependable people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

What You'll Get

• $17/hour starting pay with advancement to $18/hour typically within 60–90 days as you complete training and develop your skills

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Your day starts at our Shine office at 7:30 AM with a quick team meeting. From there, you'll head out with a teammate in a Shine vehicle to customers' homes and businesses.

You’ll learn to install professional holiday lighting displays on rooflines, trees, shrubs, and other outdoor features, helping transform homes and businesses for the holiday season.

You’ll work with ladders, lighting equipment, and your teammates to create beautiful displays while providing a great experience for our customers.

Most days wrap up around 4:00 PM, although finish times vary depending on the day's schedule. Our goal is generally to have everyone back by 5:00 PM.
