Job summary

The Indianapolis Zoo is hiring Holiday Lighting Team Members for Christmas at the Zoo (CATZ). You will hang lights, repair displays, and assist with placement for the event.

Candidates must be 18+, able to work outdoors in various weather, comfortable on ladders, and able to lift up to 25 pounds. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; pre-employment checks apply. This is an entry-level, on-site role with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of holiday lighting displays for Christmas at the Zoo (CATZ).
• Removing lights from storage, checking bulbs, and replacing bulbs as needed.
• Assisting with Christmas tree setup, including hanging lights and decorations.
• Following all Zoo safety policies, procedures, and guest experience standards.
