Job summary

Humbug Holiday Lighting is seeking a detail-oriented Holiday Lighting Installer to bring festive displays to homes and businesses in the Lancaster, SC area. You'll install, maintain, and remove lighting, work at heights with ladders, and ensure safety and quality on every project while delivering excellent customer service.

This seasonal role requires reliability, the ability to work weekends, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather during the holiday season.
• Able to safely work at heights and follow safety protocols.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a seasonal schedule including weekends.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior landscaping, construction, or outdoor installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and remove professional holiday lighting displays for residential and commercial customers.
• Safely operate ladders and work at heights to hang and secure lighting along rooflines, trees, and structures.
• Inspect and test lighting strands and components to ensure proper function before and after installation.
• Follow installation plans and design layouts to deliver high-quality, visually appealing displays.
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits, representing the company professionally.
• Properly store, organize, and transport lighting equipment and materials.
• Communicate with team leads regarding job progress, issues, or supply needs.
