Job summary

The Salvation Army Ontario Corps is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Kettle Driver. This role transports staff and volunteers to kettle locations, handles kettle setup and security, and collects donations at multiple sites during the holiday season.

Responsibilities include following scheduled routes, ensuring safety with seat belts, and maintaining punctual attendance while performing related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to drive for TSA.
• Valid driver’s license with MVR not exceeding 2 points.
• No DUI within the last 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees/volunteers to kettle site and drop off/pick up kettles per schedule.
• Ensure passengers (if any) are wearing seat belts when transporting.
• Secure kettles with locks and set up for bell ringing shifts.
• Collect Christmas donations, toys, and food from assigned locations.
• Maintain on-time attendance and perform other kettle duties as assigned.
