Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is hiring a Holiday Helper to be the first face of the brand for growing families in Smithfield, NC. You’ll greet customers, assist with product styles, and help staff with omnichannel shopping to ensure a positive experience.

As a key team member, you will handle POS transactions, replenish floor stock, and explain promotions and loyalty programs. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service/engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• A relative in a management role at this store location.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Meet customer needs by utilizing omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
