Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service, delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Under direct supervision, you will help with stocking, visual merchandising, and fulfilling daily store tasks, including handling guest inquiries and maintaining core store standards during the holiday season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support store environment including visual and operational aspects and participate in holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are presented well on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and stay aware of scams.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
