Job summary

Hagadone Marine Group is seeking a Construction & Maintenance Worker to perform general construction, maintenance, repair, installation, and facility support across our properties and events. This hands-on role requires dependability, mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A major part of this position involves assisting with the setup, construction, maintenance, operation support, and takedown of the Journey to the North Pole

Qualifications

  • Carpentry or construction experience preferred.
  • General maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with event installations and holiday displays preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or similar equipment.
  • Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting and lighting installation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general construction, carpentry, painting, installation, and repair projects.
  • Build, assemble, install, modify, and dismantle structures, displays, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other maintenance projects as directed.
  • Set up Journey to the North Pole holiday displays and related components.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to Christmas displays throughout the event season.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
