Job summary

US FUSION & Specialty Construction is seeking a General Laborer to assist with fuses, fabrication, and installation on assigned jobs. The role involves digging, loading/unloading, lifting and moving materials, and helping various departments as needed on and off site.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and safety credentials (TWIC and OSHA). Travel may be required, and strict adherence to safety standards is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 0–2 years field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Digging and loading/unloading materials on site.
• Lifting and moving materials; assisting skilled trades as needed.

General Description

Assist with fuses, fabricating and installing products for assigned jobs. Performs general manual labor tasks including digging, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or foreman.

Essential Functions

• Digging, Loading/unloading, lifting and moving of materials on site.
• Responsible for good housekeeping practices on jobsite and in the shop.
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Cross-train with other departments as needed.
• Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Must be willing to travel.

Position Requirements

Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:

• High School Diploma

• Valid TWIC – OSHA card
