The Holecutter is responsible for drilling and cutting holes in boat hulls, decks, and small parts. This role involves using various tools and equipment to ensure precise and clean cuts, adhering to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to fiberglass dust, noise, and vibration from cutting and grinding equipment. Frequent use of respirators, masks, gloves, hearing protection, and eye protection is required when cutting fiberglass materials. Work may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive hand and arm motions, bending, reaching, and working in awkward or confined positions within boat hulls or decks. Exposure to dust, fumes, and airborne particles associated with fiberglass cutting and grinding operations is common, with ventilation and dust-control measures in place. Overtime, early shifts, or extended hours may be required to support production schedule.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $20.90 to $23.65, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
