Job summary

Lifting-Gear-Hire-Corp in Burgettstown, PA, seeks a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use. You will inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test various hoisting and rigging gear, and perform routine preventative maintenance.

You will operate a forklift, load and unload deliveries, and drive company vehicles to transport orders. A high school diploma is required; DOT certification and a valid driver's license are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Hand and power tool experience desired.
• Experience with air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists or other rigging equipment beneficial.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record; DOT certification required on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand-operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload delivery vehicles and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and timely.
