The Mine Hoist Specialist plays a vital role within the team, acting as a key liaison between the engineering design office and on‑site construction teams. Specializing in the installation of mine hoists and equipment for shaft sinking, the specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth integration and application of the company’s proprietary systems. Responsibilities encompass oversight of installations, conducting maintenance, and troubleshooting, all while prioritizing design integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. In addition to these hands‑on tasks, the specialist also contributes strategically to project design, estimates, and procurement, fostering a culture of operational excellence.

If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible user of company vehicles. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Responsible to keep work areas safe and free of hazards. Performs Field Level Risk Assessments.
Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Able to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays and shift rotations.
