Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Strong reading, written and verbal communication in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the hoist and complete the safety checklist daily.
• Distribute Walkie Talkies to each level for communication.
• Open/close doors; place floor plate to bridge the gap between hoist floor and building slab.
• Weekly maintenance on the hoist; lockout/tagout during service.
• Keep area around hoist ramp clear; maintain dumpster access and cleanliness.
• Inspect handrails, overhead protection, and perimeter fence daily.
• Lock out power to the hoist at end of shift.
• Collect Walkie Talkies and charge for next day.
