Job description

This job requires the Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook to prepare best-in-class food for every Twin Peaks guest. Each HOH team member is held to high standards and discipline that ensure 100% Food Quality, Sanitation, and Safety.

THE UNIFORM

  • Keep a clean TP black hat facing forward at all times. Brim should never be bent.
  • Maintain clean hair, kept underneath the TP hat.
  • Be clean-shaven; beards and mustaches are allowed but must be well-maintained.
  • Keep fingernails trimmed.
  • Jewelry is not permitted in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists.
  • Avoid wearing headphones or earbuds.
  • Wear a clean, non-faded, wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties of a Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook include, but are not limited to:

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • Following prep and line build recipes
  • Checking ingredient quality
  • Maintaining clean and organized stations and equipment
  • Ensuring HOH standards, safety, and sanitation requirements are met at all times
  • Working effectively as a team
  • Training using tablets or computers
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a Line Cook.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate in English, understand prep recipes, and line build procedures.

REASONING ABILITY

Capable of applying common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Able to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Attend orientation and agree to policies outlined in the Twin Peaks HOH training. Successfully complete the HOH training program before working independently. Complete any other required training, including food and alcohol service certifications, in compliance with local and state regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly required to stand, walk, handle objects, and communicate. Must reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception, and focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to kitchen fumes and airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to humid conditions, chemicals, and smoke from guest smoking sections. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
