Qualifications

  • Degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, kinesiology, or related field.
  • Experience designing or evaluating periodized training programs for team-sport or hockey athletes.
  • Working knowledge of athlete monitoring tools and metrics (HRV, wearables, readiness/load scoring).
  • Ability to translate data into actionable program design and guidance.
  • Strong communication to explain concepts to coaches and athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine periodized training programs across off-season, pre-season, and in-season phases.
  • Analyze readiness data (HRV, sleep, soreness, load) to improve training recommendations.
  • Collaborate with coaches, developers, and content teams to translate science into program logic.
  • Evaluate and validate training and recovery protocols using biometric data.
  • Support development of position-specific testing and benchmarking standards.
