Job summary

RealManage is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician in Columbia, SC to perform general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA communities. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and proficiency with carpentry, plumbing, painting and related tasks.

Candidates should have own tools and transportation, be fluent in English, and be prepared for diverse duties including janitorial, inspections, and safety oversight. The position pays $19.50-$21.63 per hour and is full-time.

Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance experience required.
Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing and painting required.
Experience with cleaning, locks and gutters highly desired.
Must have own tools and transportation.
Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
Must be a proficient problem-solver.
Experience with simple electric maintenance is a plus.
Pool maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance.
Ensure completion of work orders using work order system.
General maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout the Community Associations.
Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings and structures.
Advising supervisor of needed repairs, improvements and safety issues.
Understanding of carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, painting.
