You will collaborate with City Council staff, provide real-time interpretation, uphold confidentiality, and adapt techniques to each meeting.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Hmong and English with strong oral communication.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards throughout all interpretation sessions
• Adapt interpretation techniques to suit the specific needs of the meeting's format and context
• Continuously enhance your interpretation skills and cultural knowledge to serve the community better

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in both Hmong and English, with exceptional oral communication skills in both languages
• Strong understanding of the cultural context and political landscape relevant to City Council proceedings
