Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Mid-Level Hmong Chinese Language Document Reviewer to join its in-house legal team. The role focuses on supporting eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and litigation support within a fast-paced department.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of litigation support experience, strong knowledge of federal/state courts and legal research tools, and a Law Degree. The team offers professional growth and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects.
• Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Hands-on familiarity with word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.
• Role also requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
• Requires Law Degree

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and draft responses for a variety of post-conviction motions.
• Draft memorandums on questions of law for direct appeals and pretrial motions for criminal cases pending at the Federal Court.
• Examine, prepare, and process a wide variety of legal documents ensuring conformance with rules of style and format.
• Assist clients’ attorneys in preparing trial notebooks, jury instructions, witness/exhibit lists, and discovery.
• Assemble exhibits, affidavits, and other materials; manage file organization and records disposition.
