Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation services in the Boston area, Massachusetts. We require fully bilingual interpreters with certification and experience, and you must have transportation to attend appointments locally.

Background checks are required and you must be able to operate an online portal and print/upload vouchers as needed. Hours are PRN and flexible, with typical services needing availability from Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM.

• Video call setup capability for remote tasks is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Massachusetts clients in the Boston area
• Utilize the online portal for scheduling, printing, and voucher uploading as required
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance during assignments
• Coordinate with clients and assign interpreters according to language needs and availability
• Flexibility with PRN hours; most services occur Mon-Fri 7 AM–5 PM

We are a growing interpreting service provider looking to onboard hard-working, fully bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Massachusetts area clients.

We have an immediate need for Hmong interpreters in the Boston area.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and certification REQUIRED
• Proper set up to do video calls as needed
• Simultaneous interpreting experience preferred
• Background checks required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), and needs can be sporadic depending on languages spoken. We offer flexibility based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.
