About the Role

As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store, and actively sell our products. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all the relevant information they need, support garment refill and care, maintain merchandise presentation, and keep the sales floor neat in collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

Customer Sales & Profit

• Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers, supporting them with direct service.
• Engage and converse with customers to provide great service.
• Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store.
• Promote and sell our products to customers.
• Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) & in‑store sustainability initiatives.
• Represent yourself and the H & M brand positively during all customer interactions.
• Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

• Keep up‑to‑date with fashion scenes, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers.
• Use your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information to customers.

Team & Development

• Share your service, fashion and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.
• Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
• Give and receive feedback with your colleagues to learn, develop and support each other.
• Participate in onboarding, introduction processes and relevant trainings and courses for your role and future development.

Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution

• Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.
• Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
• Keep a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.
• Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.
• Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
• Follow best practice for any in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools.
• Support store opening and closing.
• Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role and responsibilities.
