The HL7 Interface Specialist is responsible for the implementation and testing of Change Healthcare Radiology products designated as Add-ons. Also, responsible for integration of third-party products with Change Healthcare products by various methods. Add-ons are the addition of a new component (software and/or hardware) or the provision of services to an existing, implemented site. Ensures that product performance is in accordance with specifications for optimal patient care/regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deployment and configuration of CHC/Third party products/solutions remotely
  • Performing software installation, system configuration, quality test, and documentation according to defined processes
  • Coordinating conference call meetings with customer and other stakeholders (third party) for assigned projects
  • Responsible for transition of completed projects to CHC Support
  • Provide customers with networking and windows configurations guidance so their environment can operate optimally for our PACS solutions
  • Perform Final Quality Assurance for finished products as assigned in accordance with CHC quality system
  • Act as a technical lead and handle all technical issues for assigned projects
  • Updating relevant internal tools with status and information regarding assigned projects
  • Training and mentoring new hires
  • Complete all training assignments prior to due dates
  • Track assigned addon projects and provide updates to the business when requested
  • Recommend and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Tracking and reporting time spent on projects and other tasks
  • Contribute to organization OKRs
  • Troubleshooting issues and engaging assistance when necessary
  • Escalating issues at the appropriate time
  • Maintaining relationships with our vendor partners
  • Present themselves with confidence when interacting with customers
  • Provide SME guidance to pre-sales activities like
  • Estimate services effort in SME areas for quoting model
  • Assist with project resource assignments

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Engineer
  • 2+ years of scripting experience
  • 2+ years of experience using Windows Servers, Networking and Enterprise-class Information Systems
  • 2+ years of experience working with DICOM, HL7, XML
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Technology Diploma
  • MCSE and/or A+ Certification
  • CHC Technical Engineer and/or CHC support experience
  • IT experience building and configuring systems as well as supporting both internal and external customers

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
