Job summary

Strategic Systems Inc. is hiring an Interface Engineer to design, configure and test HL7 interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange in healthcare environments. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver innovative integration solutions.

The role requires HL7 experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with EMR systems such as Cerner or Epic. You will interact with Microsoft Office tools and cross-functional staff daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related relevant application experience.
• 2 Years HL7 experience minimum (building and testing Interfaces with clients)
• Ability to write and update complex SQL queries
• Experience with XML or JavaScript
• Knowledge of HL7 standards and data exchange protocols in healthcare environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and address issues promptly during the implementation process.
• Configure and test interfaces and applications with daily interaction with external customers and internal teams.
• Define interface specifications and workflows based on customer and vendor requirements.
• Install and troubleshoot integrations and collaborate with business units to analyze requirements.
• Maintain complex SQL queries and ensure data integrity across systems.
