Job summary

Strategic Systems Inc. seeks an Interface Engineer in the United States to support healthcare integration projects, configure and test interfaces, and address client issues throughout implementations.

The role requires HL7 experience, SQL skills, and strong communication to translate requirements into reliable interfaces and workflows while collaborating with Development, QA, and Support teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or related relevant application experience.
• 2+ years of experience.
• 2+ years HL7 experience (building and testing Interfaces with clients).
• Ability to solve complex problems quickly.
• Networking, OS with the ability to debug problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft OS, SQL, knowledge of TCP/IP security.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of HL7 standards and healthcare data exchange protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service during implementations.
• Configure and test interfaces and applications.
• Interact daily with external customers, Development, QA, Support staff and peers.
• Define technical interface specifications and workflows based on customer and vendor requirements.
• Install and troubleshoot integrations.
• Collaborate with business units to analyze requirements and integrate new technology.
