Job summary

ARIA of Waukesha is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to support residents and maintain a clean, safe environment at 1451 Cleveland Ave, Waukesha, WI. The role is full-time with a 7am-3pm shift and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, and handling laundry tasks. You will work with a supportive team to ensure resident comfort and facility safety while following policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, polishing floors and cleaning restrooms.
• Experience with laundry tasks including washing, drying, sorting and folding.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and cooperate with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
• Dress in appropriate uniform and be at workstation on time; work consistently until shift ends.
• Operate washer and dryer; sort, wash, and fold laundry.
• Attend in-service trainings and cooperate with all facility staff to maintain a clean environment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program; fulfill assigned duties by department head.

Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Position

Pay Range: $12-$14 hourly

Position Status: Full Time

Hours Available: 7am-3pm (Every other weekend required)

Job location: 1451 Cleveland Ave Waukesha WI

The duties of the Housekeeping and Laundry Aide include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
• Dress in appropriate uniform and be at appointed workstation promptly when the shift starts and work consistently until the shift ends.
• Operate a washer & dryer
• Sort, wash, and fold laundry
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.
• Attend all facility and department in-service training.
• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
• Maintain a safe working environment and always adhere to facility safety program.
